Place of installation: Poste Italiane – Headquarters EUR district – Rome
False ceilings: Vert Bandraster, Vert Corridor Bandraster, Baffles
For the headquarters of the Post Office in Rome, a skyscraper built between the 1960s and 1970s, located in the EUR district, Guerrasio supplied:
- For the open office spaces, a false ceiling type Vert Bandraster. The panels are 600x1100mm in size and are made of galvanised steel, 7/10 thick, post-painted RAL9003, with micro-perforation type FD Ø1.5 and black TNT tissue hot-glued to achieve the desired acoustic comfort. The 100mm bandrasters are pitch-drilled to accommodate the lighting fixtures, and the patented Guerrasio G Seismic anti-seismic suspension has been applied to the load-bearing structure of the entire ceiling.
- For the corridor areas, a customised Vert Corridor Bandraster type false ceiling was used due to the need to create a groove for the installation and sliding of a sound-absorbing wall/wallboard.
- For the lift landing areas a Baffle 30×100 type false ceiling in 6/10 thick galvanised steel, post-painted RAL9003, with micro-perforation type FD Ø1.5 and special corner Baffle elements.
The ceiling types described above can be accessed on every point. Design assistance and technical solutions provided by Guerrasio’s technical team.
